Nets' Cam Thomas: Will remain out Monday
Thomas (hamstring) has been ruled out for Monday's game in Washington.
Thomas participated in 5-on-5 scrimmages Thursday and appears close to making his first appearance since Jan. 2. However, that won't come Monday, and his status for Wednesday's game against the Thunder remains unclear. When Thomas is cleared, he'll likely take away minutes and usage from Keon Johnson and Killian Hayes.

Nets' Nic Claxton: Block party continues Saturday
Claxton registered 16 points (7-11 FG, 2-3 FT), nine rebounds, three assists and five blocks across 36 minutes during Saturday's 105-103 victory over the 76ers.
Claxton played the role of hero Saturday, delivering a game-winning putback layup to beat the buzzer in fourth quarter. His recent surge in blocks also continued, as Claxton swatted multiple shots in his seventh consecutive game while matching his season-high output of five rejections. The 25-year-old big man is trending up over his last nine outings, posting averages of 12.6 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.3 blocks, 2.0 assists and 0.9 steals in 28.9 minutes while shooting 56.0 percent from the field.

Nets' Cameron Johnson: Team-high 23 points in upset win
Johnson had 23 points (7-17 FG, 1-9 3Pt, 8-8 FT), four rebounds, four assists and three steals over 35 minutes during Saturday's 105-103 win over the 76ers.
Johnson led the Nets with 23 points to power Saturday's upset win despite a poor night shooting the ball from deep, and he also tied a season high with three steals. Over his last six contests, the 28-year-old has averaged 17.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.2 three-pointers in 29.4 minutes. Johnson should remain Brooklyn's clear-cut top scoring option while both Cam Thomas (hamstring) and D'Angelo Russell (ankle) remain on the shelf.

Nets' Trendon Watford: Takes over in fourth quarter in win
Watford supplied 16 points (7-13 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), one rebound and six assists over 24 minutes during Saturday's 105-103 win over the 76ers.
It was surprising to see Watford take over as Brooklyn's primary ball handler late in the game, with 11 of his 16 points coming during the fourth quarter of a tight contest. His six assists also represented the team high Saturday, marking Watford's new season best in the process. The 24-year-old's fantasy arrow is pointing up a bit, with averages of 14.4 points, 3.6 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 0.8 steals in 22.4 minutes over his last five games, and Watford could continue to see an uptick in playmaking duties while D'Angelo Russell (ankle) is sidelined.

Nets' Killian Hayes: Starting Saturday vs. Philly
Hayes is in the Nets' starting lineup against the 76ers on Saturday, Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Hayes signed a 10-day contract with the Nets on Wednesday and made his team debut against the Cavaliers on Thursday, during which he logged five points, three assists, one rebound and one block over 21 minutes. He'll slide into the starting lineup Saturday due to D'Angelo Russell being out with an ankle injury while Jalen Wilson and Tyrese Martin remain on the bench.

Nets' D'Angelo Russell: Out at least two games
Nets head coach Jordi Fernandez said that Russell (ankle) will sit out Saturday in Philadelphia and Monday in Washington before being reassessed, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.
Russell sprained his right ankle in Thursday's 110-97 loss to the Cavaliers and will have to miss at least two games. While Russell is sidelined, Keon Johnson and Killian Hayes will likely operate as the Nets' primary point guards, and two-way player Reece Beekman could also enter the rotation.

Nets' Cam Thomas: Won't go Saturday
Thomas (hamstring) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against Philadelphia.
Thomas will remain on the shelf for his 22nd consecutive contest due to a left hamstring strain -- he has appeared in only two outings since Nov. 27. The 23-year-old was cleared to participate in 5-on-5 scrimmages Thursday, and he'll likely continue to ease his way into playing form while he prepares for a return to game action. Thomas' next opportunity to feature will come Monday against Washington.

Nets' D'Angelo Russell: Ruled out for Saturday
Russell (ankle) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against Philadelphia, C.J. Holmes of the New York Daily News reports.
Russell sustained the right ankle sprain during Thursday's loss to the Cavaliers and won't suit up for the second night of the club's back-to-back set. With the 28-year-old sidelined, Keon Johnson and Killian Hayes are candidates for an uptick in playing time. Russell's next opportunity to feature will come Monday against Washington.

Nets' Jalen Wilson: Scores double-digit points in loss
Wilson recorded 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-5 3Pt), five rebounds, two assists and one steal in 26 minutes in Thursday's 110-97 loss to the Cavaliers.
Wilson was in double figures in scoring for the first time since being removed from the starting lineup Feb. 5. Since returning to the bench, the 24-year-old is averaging 6.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 24.4 minutes in five games played.

Nets' Ziaire Williams: Struggles from deep
Williams chipped in 10 points (3-9 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals across 31 minutes during Thursday's 110-97 loss to Cleveland.
Williams has struggled with his outside shot all season, converting just 31.7 percent of his 4.1 three-point attempts per contest. Since returning to the starting lineup on Jan. 29, Williams is averaging 10.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 steals in 28.6 minutes on 40.3/32.5/93.3 shooting splits.

Nets' Day'Ron Sharpe: Collects four swats in defeat
Sharpe logged seven points (3-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt), 10 rebounds, four blocks, three assists and one steal in 20 minutes during Thursday's 110-97 loss to the Cavaliers.
Sharpe came three points shy of his fourth double-double of the season Thursday, and he struggled with efficiency while putting up double-digit shot attempts for just the fifth time in the 2024-25 campaign. However, the big man's game- and season-high four blocks across only 20 minutes were the highlight of his night. Sharpe will likely continue to receive fairly consistent playing time off the bench, as he has averaged 9.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.3 blocks and 0.8 steals in 17.5 minutes per game over his last 10 outings. He has shot 59.7 percent from the field in that 10-game span.

Nets' Nic Claxton: Fills stat sheet Thursday
Claxton provided eight points (4-10 FG, 0-4 FT), nine rebounds, four assists, three blocks and two steals across 28 minutes during Thursday's 110-97 loss to the Cavaliers.
Claxton finished just two points and one rebound away from recording what would've been a third double-double over his last four appearances. However, the big man still finished with an excellent stat line and recorded at least two tallies in each of the five major categories. Claxton is averaging 12.1 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 2.7 blocks per game since the beginning of February.

Nets' Keon Johnson: Scores 16 despite shooting woes
Johnson accumulated 16 points (8-19 FG, 0-6 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 26 minutes during Thursday's 110-97 loss to the Cavaliers.
Johnson posted a solid stat line overall, but his shooting woes were noticeable since he finished with 19 shots taken. He snapped a stretch of three games in which he didn't reach the 15-point mark, but the lack of efficiency could start being a problem for fantasy managers, especially ones who have Johnson rostered on category-based leagues. He's making just 37.9 percent of his shots and 26.2 percent of his threes since the beginning of February.

Nets' Cameron Johnson: Scores 18 points in loss
Johnson registered 18 points (6-11 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds and two assists across 29 minutes during Thursday's 110-97 loss to the Cavaliers.
The Nets were far from being at their best Thursday, but Johnson still posted a solid showing on both ends of the court and was among Brooklyn's top-scoring weapons. Johnson has missed 13 of the Nets' 23 games since the beginning of January due to injuries, but he's been productive and consistent when available. He's averaging 18.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game in that span, and he should remain a reliable fantasy alternative every time the Nets step on the hardwood.

Nets' D'Angelo Russell: Ruled out with ankle sprain
Russell won't return to Thursday's game against the Cavaliers due to a right ankle sprain, Sharif Phillips-Keaton of USA Today reports. He finished with three points (1-7 FG, 1-6 3Pt) and five assists over 18 minutes prior to departing.
Russell struggled to find his rhythm prior to exiting with the ankle injury, which could threaten his availability for the Nets' next game Saturday in Philadelphia. The Nets are likely to lean on recent 10-day signee Killian Hayes as their primary ballhandler for the rest of Thursday's contest in Russell's absence.
