  • Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: All-around showing off bench

Aldama recorded 15 points (6-11 FG, 3-6 3Pt), six rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal across 29 minutes during Sunday's 129-123 loss to Cleveland.

Despite coming off the bench, Aldama continues to play a significant role for the Grizzlies. The 24-year-old big man has averaged 13.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 0.8 steals and 2.5 three-pointers in 26.1 minutes over his last six games, shooting 44.1 percent from deep during this stretch. Although Zach Edey continues to start at center, that hasn't prevented Aldama from hovering around the top 100 from a fantasy perspective.

  • Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Team-high 22 points in loss

Jackson registered 22 points (9-18 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-6 FT), three rebounds, four assists, one block and two steals across 25 minutes during Sunday's 129-123 loss to the Cavaliers.

Jackson led the Grizzlies with 22 points to go with a full stat line. Across his last nine contests, the star big man has averaged 22.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.9 blocks, 1.0 steals and 2.0 three-pointers in 30.1 minutes. Jackson was charged with five fouls Sunday and picked up his fourth early in the third quarter, which was a big reason why he was limited to just 25 minutes.

  • Grizzlies' Desmond Bane: Poor shooting night Sunday

Bane provided seven points (2-13 FG, 0-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, eight assists, one block and one steal over 35 minutes during Sunday's 129-123 loss to the Cavaliers.

It was poor night shooting the ball by Bane, but he was still able to fill the box score and dish out eight assists. Despite Sunday's hiccup, the star guard is still averaging 19.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 0.8 steals and 2.1 three-pointers in 35.1 minutes over his last eight outings. Bane has hit the 20-point plateau in six of these contests, so he should be able to bounce back in the scoring department before long.

  • Grizzlies' Vince Williams: Available to play Sunday

Williams (knee) is not on the injury report and should be available for Sunday's game against the Cavaliers.

Williams didn't suit up for Friday's win over the Magic due to lingering left knee soreness, but the fact that he's not on the injury report for Sunday's contest suggests he should return to his bench role. Williams is averaging 6.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists across 16.3 minutes per game in four February appearances.

  • Grizzlies' Zach Edey: Muted effort against Magic

Edey racked up two points (1-2 FG), six rebounds and two blocks across 12 minutes during Friday's 105-104 win over Orlando.

Edey is now on a five-game streak of scoring five points or less, and his 12 minutes were his lowest since Jan. 17 against the Spurs (seven) as the Grizzlies leaned heavily on Brandon Clarke and Santi Aldama off the bench. Edey has gone through stretches of low output on the box score, but the rookie first-round pick is capable of logging a double-double on any given night. He'll look to bounce back against Donovan Mitchell and the East-leading Cavaliers on Sunday. Cleveland could be without Jarrett Allen (hand) for that game.

  • Grizzlies' Brandon Clarke: Logs double-double as reserve

Clarke chipped in 13 points (6-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists and one steal in 27 minutes during Friday's 105-104 victory over the Magic.

Clarke was able to bounce back from a muted effort during Thursday's loss to Indiana to lead the Grizzlies in rebounding Friday while registering his first double-double of the regular season. Clarke is averaging career lows in points (7.9) and rebounds (5.0) per game this season, but he is shooting 61.1 percent from the field and has been a key piece to Memphis' rotation this year.

  • Grizzlies' Ja Morant: Team-high 23 points vs. Magic

Morant tallied 23 points (10-24 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five assists, four rebounds and one steal over 33 minutes during Friday's 105-104 win over Orlando.

Morant saw his shooting struggles from beyond the arc continue Friday when he missed all but one of his seven three-point attempts, but he did manage to lead the Grizzlies in scoring in Friday's win. The big thing for Morant was that he was able to play both games in the Grizzlies' back-to-back set, which indicates that he has progressed in his recovery from a knee injury from before the All-Star break. Morant has averaged 20.6 points, 5.6 assists and 4.8 rebounds over 31.7 minutes per game over his last five outings.

  • Grizzlies' Vince Williams: Won't play Friday

Williams (knee) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Magic.

Williams will sit out of the second half of the club's back-to-back set due to lingering left knee soreness. His next chance to play will come Sunday versus Cleveland. GG Jackson and Jaylen Wells are candidates for an uptick in playing time with Williams sidelined.

  • Grizzlies' Jaylen Wells: Finishes with 17 points in loss

Wells chipped in 17 points (4-8 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 8-8 FT), four rebounds and one steal over 27 minutes during Thursday's 127-113 loss to the Pacers.

The rookie finished as the club's third-leading scorer behind Desmond Bane (23 points) and Jaren Jackson (18 points) in the loss. Wells was able to contribute 17 points, though he struggled from three-point range. He has shot only 28.2 percent from beyond the arc over his last 10 outings. In that same 10-game span, the 21-year-old has averaged 9.2 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists across 23.9 minutes per game as a mainstay in the starting five.

  • Grizzlies' Vince Williams: Iffy for Friday

Williams is listed as questionable for Friday's game versus the Magic due to left knee soreness.

Williams is in danger of missing the second leg of Memphis' back-to-back Friday due to a nagging knee injury. If Williams is forced to sit out against Orlando, Luke Kennard and John Konchar are candidates to receive increased playing time.

  • Grizzlies' Vince Williams: Returns from sore knee

Williams (knee) tallied seven points (3-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt), six rebounds, two assists and one steal across 20 minutes in Thursday's 127-113 loss to the Pacers.

Williams missed the Grizzlies' final game before the All-Star break due to left knee soreness, but he was off the injury report entirely as Memphis kicked off its second-half schedule Thursday. Since returning to action earlier this month after having been sidelined since Nov. 19 due to a Grade 3 right ankle sprain, Williams has appeared in four games while averaging 6.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 16.3 minutes per contest.

  • Grizzlies' Marvin Bagley: Makes debut in garbage time

Bagley (ankle) recorded no statistics while playing the final 1:31 of Thursday's 127-111 loss to the Pacers.

Bagley made his Grizzlies debut in garbage time, playing for the first time since Dec. 23 after he had been sidelined due to a right ankle distal syndesmosis sprain before the Wizards shipped him to Memphis ahead of the Feb. 6 trade deadline. So long as the Grizzlies have at least two or three of Jaren Jackson, Zach Edey, Brandon Clarke and Jay Huff available in the frontcourt, Bagley likely won't be in the mix for a rotation spot.

  • Grizzlies' Desmond Bane: Balanced showing as top scorer

Bane finished with 23 points (9-16 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven assists, five rebounds and two blocks over 33 minutes in Thursday's 127-113 loss to Indiana.

Bane led the way for Memphis in Thursday's contest, pacing all players in scoring, threes made and assists while recording a team-high-tying pair of blocks in a well-rounded performance. Bane has tallied at least 23 points in nine contests, and he has surpassed the 20-point mark in six consecutive outings. Defensively, Bane matched a season high in blocks, a mark he has now recorded on three occasions.

  • Grizzlies' Luke Kennard: Contributes in return to bench

Kennard notched six points (2-5 FG, 2-5 3Pt), three assists and two rebounds over 20 minutes in Thursday's 127-113 loss to Indiana.

Kennard shifted back to the Memphis bench due to the return of Ja Morant (knee) in the starting rotation, going on to pitch in off the bench with his shot from deep and his distribution. Kennard has provided a boost offensively as of late, connecting on two threes and dishing out a pair of assists in two straight outings.

  • Grizzlies' Ja Morant: Struggles in return

Morant (knee) posted 12 points (4-15 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT) and six assists across 30 minutes in Thursday's 127-113 loss to Indiana.

Morant was back in action for the Grizzlies' first game coming out of the All-Star break after he was sidelined for the team's 128-114 loss to the Clippers on Feb. 12 due to right knee soreness. Though the point guard wasn't operating with any restrictions, an awful shooting night led to a disappointing stat line. The Grizzlies will wrap up a back-to-back set Friday in Orlando, and Morant could be a candidate to sit out that contest to receive more maintenance for his knee.
