  • Mavericks' Kessler Edwards: Grabs eight boards vs. Warriors

Edwards closed Sunday's 126-102 loss to Golden State with six points (3-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt), eight rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in 14 minutes.

Edwards played only 14 minutes in Sunday's blowout loss, but he managed to grab eight boards which tied Moses Brown for most on the Mavericks. Edwards has started at center in five straight games due to the absence of Anthony Davis (abdomen), and the former should remain in the starting lineup Tuesday against the Lakers.

  • Mavericks' Jaden Hardy: Scores 11 points in second half

Hardy amassed 11 points (4-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-5 FT) and one assist across 16 minutes during Sunday's 126-102 loss to the Warriors.

Hardy didn't see the floor until the second half of Sunday's game as the Mavericks found themselves down by as much as 29 points. He took advantage of the prolonged playing time by leading the Mavs' reserves with 11 points. Hardy has been a healthy DNP in four of Dallas' nine games in February, so his production can't be relied on by fantasy managers on a night-to-night basis.

  • Mavericks' P.J. Washington: Efficient effort vs. Golden State

Washington registered 17 points (7-11 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 0-1 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal over 28 minutes during Sunday's 126-102 loss to the Warriors.

Washington was able to play in his second straight game Sunday after missing six of the prior seven games due to an ankle sprain. He finished as the Mavericks' co-leader in scoring with Kyrie Irving, and Washington managed to connect on three triples for the seventh time this season. Washington didn't play in the fourth quarter, but that was due to the Mavericks being down by 25 points heading into the final period. He should continue to see plenty of playing time at the five in small-ball lineups due to the prolonged absences of Anthony Davis (abdomen), Dereck Lively (ankle) and Daniel Gafford (knee).

  • Mavericks' Dwight Powell: Out Sunday, as expected

Powell (hip) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Warriors.

As expected, Powell has been downgraded from doubtful to out. He hasn't played since Jan. 17.

  • Mavericks' P.J. Washington: Cleared to play Sunday

Washington (ankle) is available for Sunday's game against the Warriors.

Washington returned from a three-game absence Friday and finished with 24 points (8-17 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 5-8 FT), seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block across 37 minutes during a win over the Pelicans. He shouldn't have any limitations Sunday.

  • Mavericks' Caleb Martin: Remains out Sunday

Martin (hip) is out for Sunday's game against the Warriors.

Martin continues to deal with a hip injury and doesn't have a clear timetable for his return. His next chance to play will come against the Lakers on Tuesday.

  • Mavericks' Dwight Powell: Unlikely to play Sunday

Powell (hip) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Warriors.

Powell hasn't played since Jan. 17 due to a right hip strain, and it appears he will miss a 15th straight game due to the injury. The 2014 second-round pick has been ramping up in practice, but he still has additional hurdles to overcome before being given the green light to return.

  • Mavericks' P.J. Washington: Questionable for Sunday

Washington is questionable for Sunday's game against the Warriors due to a right ankle sprain.

Washington returned from a three-game absence Friday and finished with a strong stat line of 24 points, seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block across 37 minutes. He's played in just two of Dallas' eight February contests, however, so the questionable tag might be a precaution more than anything else. If he's cleared to play Sunday, he should handle his regular workload.

  • Mavericks' Klay Thompson: Hits four triples in return

Thompson (foot) contributed 12 points (4-11 FG, 4-7 3Pt), three rebounds, three assists and two steals across 25 minutes in Friday's 111-103 win over the Pelicans.

Thompson was one of three Dallas starters to return to the lineup for the Mavericks' first game following the All-Star break, as he and Kyrie Irving (shoulder) returned from one-game absences, while P.J. Washington (ankle) was back in action after sitting out the previous three contests. Though Thompson made his usual contribution in three-pointers and also chipped in a pair of steals, poor efficiency and a lack of a peripheral contributions continue to suppress his fantasy upside. Thompson is still capable of popping off for huge scoring performances every now and then, but the big games aren't coming frequently enough at this stage of his career to make him much more than a streaming option for three-pointers in 12-team category or points leagues.

  • Mavericks' Moses Brown: Plays 12 minutes in Mavs debut

Brown registered two points (1-2 FG), four rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 12 minutes during Friday's 111-103 win over the Pelicans.

With Dallas dealing with injuries to Anthony Davis (adductor), Dereck Lively (ankle), Daniel Gafford (knee) and Dwight Powell (hip), the Mavericks signed Brown to a 10-day contract to add some depth at center. Despite coming off the bench, Brown ended up matching starting center Kessler Edwards in minutes, and the duo could have that kind of split in playing time moving forward while the Mavs use P.J. Washington at the five in small-ball lineups.

  • Mavericks' P.J. Washington: Tallies 24 points in return

Washington (ankle) tallied 24 points (8-17 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 5-8 FT), seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block over 37 minutes during Friday's 111-103 win over the Pelicans.

Washington was cleared to play Friday after missing six of Dallas' last seven games due to a right ankle sprain. Though Washington started alongside an undersized center in Kessler Edwards, the latter played just 12 minutes while the former ended up seeing extra run at the five spot. The 2019 first-round pick came out of the gate strong by scoring 20 of his 24 points in the first half and finished as the Mavericks' second-leading scorer behind Kyrie Irving (35). Washington was able to play free of a minutes restriction, which indicates that he has progressed enough in his recovery that he won't need to sit out of Sunday's game against the Warriors due to injury management.

  • Mavericks' Kyrie Irving: Scores 35 points in win

Irving (shoulder) finished with 35 points (11-22 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 8-8 FT), four assists, two rebounds and one block over 37 minutes in Friday's 111-103 win over the Pelicans.

Irving sat out the Mavericks' final game before the All-Star break Feb. 13 against the Heat due to a sore right shoulder, but the missed contest didn't disrupt his excellent run of play, as he turned in his third straight game with at least 30 points while connecting on half of his shot attempts and going percent from the charity stripe. He has scored at least 30 points in each of his last three games, and over that span he has shot 51.4 percent from the field and 48.3 percent from beyond the arc. Irving's efforts have helped the Mavericks win five of their last six games.

  • Mavericks' Olivier-Maxence Prosper: Back to bench Friday

Prosper is not in Dallas' starting lineup against New Orleans on Friday, Grant Afseth of DallasHoopsJournal.com reports.

Prosper started in Dallas' two games prior to the All-Star break and averaged 8.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.0 steals over 23.5 minutes per game over that span. Kessler Edwards will draw the start at center Friday while Prosper slides back to the bench.

  • Mavericks' Max Christie: Coming off bench Friday

Christie is not in the Mavericks' starting five against the Pelicans on Friday, Grant Afseth of DallasHoopsJournal.com reports.

Christie started in the Mavericks' two games prior to the All-Star break and averaged 18.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.0 steals over 39.0 minutes per game over that span. Christie and Spencer Dinwiddie will come off the bench Friday due to the returns of Kyrie Irving (shoulder) and Klay Thompson (foot).

  • Mavericks' Spencer Dinwiddie: Reserve role Friday vs. NOLA

Dinwiddie is not in the Mavericks' starting lineup against the Pelicans on Friday, Grant Afseth of DallasHoopsJournal.com reports.

Dinwiddie was in the Mavs' starting lineup against the Heat on Feb. 13, and he finished that game with 18 points, six assists and three rebounds over 36 minutes. With Kyrie Irving (shoulder) cleared to play, Dinwiddie will revert to a reserve role Friday.

  • Mavericks' P.J. Washington: Playing with no restrictions Friday

Washington (ankle) is available for Friday's game against the Pelicans, Christian Clark of The Athletic reports.

Washington has been sidelined for six of the Mavericks' last seven games due to a right ankle sprain, but the sixth-year forward out of Kentucky will play Friday without a minutes restriction. Despite the Mavericks being without Anthony Davis (adductor), Dereck Lively (ankle) and Daniel Gafford (knee), head coach Jason Kidd said Friday that Washington will likely remain at the four while Kessler Edwards serves as the center, per Mike Curtis of The Dallas Morning News. Washington averaged 18.3 points, 10.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.9 blocks over 34.6 minutes per game in his 10 outings prior to his ankle injury.
