Sabres' James Reimer: Absent from practice
Reimer (personal) didn't participate in Monday's practice, Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports.
Reimer was given the day off to attend to a family issue but could be available for Tuesday's home matchup against Anaheim. If Reimer has to miss the game, Buffalo could recall Devon Levi from AHL Rochester to occupy the backup role behind Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen.

Sabres' Jason Zucker: Game-time decision for Tuesday
Zucker had a maintenance day during Monday's practice session, and the team will wait until after Tuesday's morning skate to determine whether he can play in that evening's matchup against Anaheim, Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports.
While it's unclear what issue Zucker is dealing with, his status for Tuesday's game is up in the air. He's in the midst of a five-game point streak, racking up two goals, six assists, six hits and three blocked shots during that time.

Sabres' Alex Tuch: Game-time call Tuesday
Tuch (undisclosed) will participate in Tuesday's morning skate to see if he will be available against the Ducks, Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports.
Tuch left Saturday's matchup with the Rangers after just 13:19 of ice time, his fewest minutes this year. In his 55 games this season, the 28-year-old winger has managed 19 goals and 24 assists, and he should reach the 20-goal threshold for the third consecutive campaign. If Tuch can't give it a go, Jordan Greenway should be in contention for a top-six role.

Sabres' Dennis Gilbert: Maintains momentum after break
Gilbert recorded an assist, three hits, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 8-2 win over the Rangers.
Gilbert has three helpers over four games in February. If nothing else, he's helping himself stay in the lineup for his hometown team, leaving Jacob Bryson and Connor Clifton in the press box. Gilbert's recent success might make rostering him more palatable in deep fantasy formats, but his primary source of production will always come from physical play. He has just four assists to go with 50 PIM, 48 hits and 22 blocked shots over 21 appearances.

Sabres' Jordan Greenway: Provides helper in return
Greenway logged an assist, two shots on goal, six hits and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 8-2 win over the Rangers.
Greenway's season has been marred by injuries, but the Sabres like what he can bring in a third-line role. He adds a little depth scoring and a strong physical game. The 28-year-old is at eight points, 60 hits, 26 shots on net, 20 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over 21 appearances this season, but as usual, the struggle is staying healthy. Greenway has been limited to 67 games or fewer in each of the last four seasons and can play in a maximum of only 48 this year due to time he's already missed, which would be his lowest total since becoming a full-time NHL option.

Sabres' Henri Jokiharju: Adds late goal
Jokiharju scored a goal and went plus-2 in Saturday's 8-2 win over the Rangers.
Jokiharju ended a six-game point drought when he put away his second goal of the NHL campaign late in the third period of this blowout win. He also scored for Finland against the USA during the 4 Nations Face-Off, but fantasy managers shouldn't expect a sudden uptick on offense from the 25-year-old blueliner. He's not even fully guaranteed a place in the lineup, though he offers a bit more reliability than Connor Clifton, Jacob Bryson or Dennis Gilbert. Jokiharju has had a challenging year on offense with just five points over 40 outings, but he's added a plus-5 rating, 33 hits and 31 blocked shots to help stabilize the bottom four on the blue line.

Sabres' Jack Quinn: Scores in blowout win
Quinn scored a goal on two shots, added two hits and went plus-2 in Saturday's 8-2 win over the Rangers.
Quinn ended an eight-game goal drought with the opening tally just 1:46 into the game, sparking a five-goal first period for the Sabres. The 23-year-old forward has often been on the third line lately, which has limited his impact on offense. For the season, he's now at 10 goals, 21 points, 87 shots on net, 31 hits and a minus-15 rating across 48 appearances.

Sabres' Ryan McLeod: Lights lamp twice in big win
McLeod scored two goals in Saturday's 8-2 win over the Rangers.
The 25-year-old center pocketed the Sabres' fourth and seventh goals in the rout. Despite missing three games in late January due to an upper-body injury, McLeod is having his most productive stretch of the season -- over his last 11 appearances, he's delivered eight of his 14 goals and 12 of his 30 points on the campaign.

Sabres' Jason Zucker: Three helpers against Blueshirts
Zucker picked up three assists, one on the power play, in Saturday's 8-2 rout over the Rangers.
The veteran winger extended his point streak to five games with the performance, a stretch in which Zucker has collected two goals and eight points. His surge began with the new year, and over 15 appearances since the beginning of January, Zucker has produced an impressive seven goals, four with the man advantage, and 18 points.

Sabres' Rasmus Dahlin: Three points in Saturday's rout
Dahlin scored two goals, one on the power play, and added an assist in Saturday's 8-2 win over the Rangers.
All three points came in the first period, as the Sabres roared out to a 5-0 lead and chased Igor Shesterkin from the game. Dahlin extended his point streak to six games in the process, a stretch in which he's amassed three goals and 11 points with 11 shots on net, 11 blocked shots, nine hits and a plus-7 rating.

Sabres' Tage Thompson: Three points including GWG
Thompson scored two goals, one the game-winner, and added a power-play assist in Saturday's 8-2 victory over the Rangers.
He gave the Sabres a 3-0 lead midway through the first period on a strong individual effort, fighting off two defenders in the corner before carrying the puck to the front of the net and tucking it under Igor Shesterkin. Thompson then added another tally in the third against Jonathan Quick. The 27-year-old has three three-point performances in his last five appearances, piling up six goals and 11 points in that stretch, and Thompson sits two goals short of his third career 30-goal campaign.

Sabres' Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: Cruises to win Saturday
Luukkonen made 26 saves in Saturday's 8-2 win over the Rangers.
The Sabres chased Igor Shesterkin from the game with a five-goal first period, and while Luukkonen's shutout bid ended early in the second on a Chris Kreider power-play tally, his win was never in jeopardy. The 25-year-old netminder has won four of his last five starts, and since the beginning of January, he's gone 8-4-1 with a 3.08 GAA and an .890 save percentage.

Sabres' Alex Tuch: Suffers undisclosed injury
Tuch sustained an undisclosed injury during Saturday's 8-2 win over the Rangers, but coach Lindy Ruff isn't "too concerned," per Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News.
Tuch had three shots in 13:19 of ice time Saturday, bringing him up to 127 shots in 55 appearances this season. He also has 19 goals and 43 points in 2024-25. If Tuch can't play against Anaheim on Tuesday, Sam Lafferty could draw back into the lineup.

Sabres' Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: Expected to start Saturday
Luukkonen is set to start at home against the Rangers on Saturday, per Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News.
Luukkonen has an 18-16-4 record, 3.02 GAA and .895 save percentage in 39 outings in 2024-25. He has allowed at least three goals in each of his past three starts, though he still ended up winning two of those games. The Rangers rank 14th in goals per game with 2.98.

Sabres' Beck Malenstyn: Available Saturday
Malenstyn (back) is expected to be an option for Saturday's game against the Rangers.
Malenstyn might be a healthy scratch, but he's available if the Sabres choose to dress him. The 27-year-old has four goals, nine points and 125 hits in 50 outings in 2024-25.

Sabres' Jordan Greenway: Off injured reserve
Greenway (undisclosed) was activated off injured reserve Saturday, per the NHL media site.
Greenway, who hasn't played since Dec. 15 due to the injury, will likely serve in a middle-six capacity Saturday versus the Rangers. He has three goals, seven points, 13 PIM and 54 hits in 20 appearances in 2024-25.

Sabres' Mattias Samuelsson: Removed from IR
Samuelsson (foot) was activated from injured reserve Saturday, per the NHL media site.
Following a two-game absence, Samuelsson will be available to return to the lineup against the Rangers on Saturday. However, he might be a healthy scratch after serving as an extra during Friday's practice. He has contributed three goals, six assists, 39 shots on net, 55 blocked shots and 57 hits through 35 appearances this season.
