Flames' Ryan Lomberg: Manages assist Sunday
Lomberg recorded an assist, four shots on goal and two hits in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Sharks.
Lomberg ended an eight-game point drought with the helper. The 30-year-old winger continues to fill a fourth-line role, providing a bit of grit and energy at the bottom of the Flames' lineup. He's hardly done anything on offense with six points over 54 outings, but he's added 84 hits, 53 PIM, 47 shots on net and a minus-3 rating.

Flames' Martin Pospisil: Offers helper in win
Pospisil logged an assist in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Sharks.
Pospisil has four helpers over his last seven outings. The 25-year-old is currently on the fourth line, and while that will reduce his offense, it's a role that fits his playing style well. Pospisil is up to 19 points, 75 shots on net, 192 hits, 74 PIM and a plus-2 rating over 56 appearances, a touch below his pace from his 24-point rookie season over 63 games in 2023-24.

Flames' Morgan Frost: Pockets power-play helper
Frost notched a power-play assist and two PIM in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Sharks.
Frost is up to three points over six games since he was traded to the Flames. This was his first power-play point with his new team, though he is seeing time on the first unit, which has been pretty productive lately. Frost now has 28 points, 99 shots on net, 41 hits, 40 blocked shots, 22 PIM and a minus-13 rating over 55 appearances. His third-line role at even strength doesn't bode well for consistent offense outside of power-play situations.

Flames' MacKenzie Weegar: Posts power-play helper Sunday
Weegar registered a power-play assist, six shots on goal, two blocked shots and two PIM in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Sharks.
Weegar's assist streak is up to six games, and five of his seven helpers in that span have come on the power play. The defenseman is showing plenty of consistency while featuring in a top-four role and on the first power-play unit. For the season, he's up to six goals, 26 helpers, 15 power-play points, 126 shots on net, 146 hits, 120 blocked shots, 27 PIM and a plus-12 rating through 56 appearances. He won't repeat last season's 20-goal showing, but he's well on his way to his third season of 40-plus points over the last four years.

Flames' Jonathan Huberdeau: Nabs helper in win
Huberdeau logged an assist and two shots on goal in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Sharks.
Huberdeau had to wait two weeks to extend his point streak to five games, but he did it, setting up Joel Hanley's game-winning goal in the third period. During the streak, Huberdeau has two goals and four assists. He's up to 42 points, 105 shots on net, 46 blocked shots, 35 hits and a minus-7 rating over 56 appearances this season while seeing steady top-line time.

Flames' Joel Hanley: Game-winner is first goal of season
Hanley scored a goal on three shots and blocked three shots in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Sharks.
Hanley's tally in the third period put the Flames ahead for good. It was his first goal of the campaign and his first career game-winner. The 33-year-old defenseman has carved out a fairly regular role lately, but he could be at risk of losing playing time to Kevin Bahl (illness) in the near future. Hanley has four points, 22 shots on net, 48 blocked shots, 25 hits and a plus-4 rating across 28 appearances in 2024-25.

Flames' Kevin Rooney: Cashes in for goal
Rooney scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Sharks.
Rooney buried a goal from close range at 3:35 of the second period, giving the Flames their first lead of the contest. It was his first point in over two months -- he last got on the scoresheet Dec. 10 versus the Predators with a two-point game. Rooney has surpassed his 2023-24 production, earning four goals, one assist, 34 shots on net, 72 hits, 26 blocked shots and a minus-7 rating through 45 appearances this season. However, if the Flames upgrade their roster at the trade deadline, he could find himself out of the lineup or off the NHL roster altogether.

Flames' Nazem Kadri: Back at 20-goal mark
Kadri scored a power-play goal on six shots, added an assist and logged two hits in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Sharks.
Kadri reached the 20-goal mark for the fourth year in a row when he scored in the first period. He also had a hand in Joel Hanley's third-period game-winner. Kadri has three goals and five assists during his six-game point streak spanning all of February. The 34-year-old center is up to 42 points (15 on the power play), 189 shots on net, 38 hits, 57 PIM and a minus-15 rating through 56 appearances. He could push for a 30-goal, 60-point campaign if he stays healthy.

Flames' Dustin Wolf: Reaches 20-win mark
Wolf stopped 27 of 29 shots in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Sharks.
Wolf had surrendered 14 goals during his four-game skid (0-3-1) prior to the 4 Nations Face-Off break. It appears the two weeks off did the American netminder some good, allowing him to get over the hump to finally earn his 20th win of the season. He's now 20-11-3 with a 2.62 GAA and a .913 save percentage over 34 games this season. Wolf has emerged as the Flames' top netminder, but a brutal road trip is up next, which begins Tuesday versus the Capitals.

Hanley has three assists, 19 shots on goal, 45 blocked shots and 24 hits in 27 appearances this season.

Flames' Tyson Barrie: Goes on waivers
Barrie was placed on waivers by the Flames on Thursday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
Barrie signed a one-year deal with the Flames in the offseason, but he's spent the majority of the season as a healthy scratch, recording just one goal and two assists across 13 games. He will be assigned to the AHL if he clears waivers. With the 33-year-old's departure comes a potential opportunity for young defensemen Ilya Solovyov and Yan Kuznetsov, who were called up Wednesday.
