Projects Westbourne Green Open Space
With funding from the Greater London Authority’s Good Growth Fund, Westminster City Council has commissioned a multi-disciplinary design team to design and deliver public space improvements at Westbourne Green.
The project focuses on the stretch of Westbourne Green that runs adjacent to the canal, sitting between a new council development, 300 Harrow Road and includes Delamere Terrace. The project aims to enhance the open space as a new public park for northwest Westminster and to improve connectivity.
Concept designs have been produced in response to longstanding ideas and aspirations of local community groups and networks. From 2021, we have engaged with the local community to listen to their priorities. Feedback regarding the design development is also received via the community working group.
